Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos

Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos

Why We Recommend It:

Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos is a luxury all-inclusive near San Jose del Cabo, Los Cabos, which is popular with just about everyone – families, young couples, older couples and groups of friends.

The resort can be busy and lively but, apart from a few pockets here and there, it’s not really a party resort.

Facilities include a luxury spa a great choice of restaurants and bars, many pools including an infinity pool, kids-only and adults-only pools, a theater and daily and nightly entertainment.

Rooms & Suites:

There are 591 rooms and suites in total. None are particularly spectacular, luxurious or stylish – even their highest-level suites – but all of them have minimum standards and these standards are very high.

The furniture is quality, the beds extremely comfortable and all come with plush bathrooms, some of which have whirlpool baths.

Other facilities include air-con, Nespresso coffee makers, iPod docks, minibars, seating areas and spacious balconies, some with ocean views, and 24-hour room service.

Some suites are swim-up, and some have separate bedrooms and lounges to sleep a maximum of six per unit.

Club Room guests have free access to the laid-back exclusive Club Lounge which is supplied with premium liquors, light bites, snacks and desserts.

All food and drink is all-inclusive and none of the restaurants need a reservation. Highlights include Bon Vivant, their upscale French offering and DoZo their Japanese.

Drinking venues include a swanky piano bar, a lively sports bar and pool bars. There are nightly theater performances as well as live music and other daily entertainment.

The resort is family-friendly and there have a constantly busy kid’s club and a separate club for and teens.

The Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos Zen Spa is a particular highlight. They have 18 treatment rooms, and hydrotherapy pools, though all treatments are outside the all-inclusive package.

There is a very good gym here as well as volleyball, tennis and basketball courts. Other free activities include water aerobics, yoga and dance classes.

As is the case with most hotels in Los Cabos, the beach at Hyatt Ziya Los Cabos is sadly not swimmable though they do have a huge pool section.

Resort Location:
