Saint Kitts and NevisWhy We Like it: This particular Marriott is a huge, luxury all inclusive in St. Kitts’ Frigate Bay, with nearly 400 rooms and suites. It can be lively and fun but the grounds are so large that you can also fairly easily avoid the crowds. They have a very impressive range of facilities here: three large pools & three whirlpools, a gorgeous white sandy beach, a casino, a spa, a golf course, four tennis courts, eight dining venues and a great number of activities both on and off-site. It is family friendly though the focus seems to be much more for adults. It doesn’t have a kid’s club for example, and the vast majority of guests are adults. Accommodation: They have a mix of rooms, suites and villas. All are spacious, clean and bright and have a modern, minimalist style. Many have balconies and views of the ocean, though the accommodation is set back a bit from the sea. You can check out all your options at Expedia.com here. Prices: Enter dates and compare prices at Marriott’s own website here, at Booking.com here and at Expedia.com here. Food, Facilities & Things to Do: The food at St. Kitts Marriott is well received by guests. Some food choices here include seafood at Blu, Fire, for more seafood and also steakhouse, La Cucina, and the venue for the buffet breakfast, Calypso. You’ll find Café Calypso by the lobby, it serves great coffee plus sweet and savory snacks. Then there is their Pizza Shack, good tapas and sushi can be had in the resort’s lobby bar Arwee, plus fast food, salads and a full range of drinks at the Bohemia Pool Bar. The Bohemia, the swim up bar and the pool area in general, get busy early and stays that way pretty much all day. In terms of activities you have a host of water-sports, volleyball and tennis courts, a 24 hour fitness center with many free classes. Personal training is also available for an extra fee. The resort’s spa has nine treatment rooms, steam rooms, therapy baths, plunge pools etc. plus a beauty salon. Massages can also be requested in your own READ MORE
